Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters scholarships are open to master’s-level students from eligible countries all over the world. All Arab countries are among those eligible.
Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters courses are high-level, integrated study programmes designed and delivered by consortia of higher education institutions. Each course involves at least three higher education institutions from three countries, two of which must be European Union member states or third countries associated with Erasmus Mundus.

Participants will spend a minimum of two study periods studying abroad in nations other than their home country. Students may obtain numerous degrees from the various institutions in their consortium or a joint degree from two or more of those institutions.
The scholarships are funded by the EU in order to promote excellence and globalization.
Deadline
depends on the program. For courses beginning in the next academic year, the majority of consortiums need applications to be submitted between October and January.
Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be from an eligible country. All Arab countries are among those eligible.
- Have obtained a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or will have obtained one before their chosen master’s course starts.
- Meet the entry requirements of their chosen master’s course.
Duration
1 to 2 academic years (60, 90 or 120 ECTS credits).
