The Ethiopian Engineering Corporation (EEC) is a governmental enterprise re-established in September 2020 under the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) Council of Ministers Regulation No. 475/2020. Its primary objective is to play a pivotal role in advancing the development of heavy industries in Ethiopia, contributing to the country’s vision of transitioning to an industrial-led economy.
Currently, the Corporation oversees nine subsidiary industries with manufacturing facilities located across the nation, including Akaki Basic Metal Industry, Metals Fabrication Industry, Construction Machinery Manufacturing Industry, Electronic Equipment Manufacturing Industry, Power Equipment Manufacturing Industry, Addis Machineries and Spare Parts Manufacturing Industry, Adama Agricultural Machinery Manufacturing Industry, Ethiopia-Plastics Industry, and Bishoftu Automotive Manufacturing Industry.
Position 1. Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Location: Addis Ababa
Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Purchasing & Supplies, or related fields.
- Work Experience: Minimum of 5 years, particularly in automotive material procurement. Experience in maintenance is preferred.
- Additional Requirements:
- Experience in construction firms or handling complex construction projects with external contractors.
- Familiarity with procurement for medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software is mandatory.
- International or multinational experience is an added advantage.
Position 2. Senior Quality Assurance Quality Control Engineer

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Minimum B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields.
- Work Experience: At least 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in construction.

- Technical expertise in construction testing, activities, and management systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards.
- Strong reporting, troubleshooting, and supervisory skills.
- Ability to work under high-pressure, time-sensitive conditions.
- Availability for night and weekend shifts.
Position 3. Senior Sanitary Engineer

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: B.Sc. in Hydraulic Engineering or Water Supply & Environmental Engineering.
- Work Experience: Over 5 years in sanitary design and installation with extensive practical exposure.
- Preference: Candidates with international experience, either locally or abroad.
Position 4. Site HR & Admin

Qualifications and Experience:
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in HR Management, Public Administration, or related fields.
- Work Experience: 3-5 years, particularly in construction or project-based HR roles.
