Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Business Development Section Head to lead and expand our business development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving growth initiatives. This role requires a proven track record of success in business development and leadership in a fast-paced and competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy aligned with company goals.
  • Identify and evaluate potential business opportunities, markets, and partnerships.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the business development team to ensure high performance.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and execute strategic initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve business outcomes.
  • Negotiate and close complex deals with prospective clients.

About You

Qualifications:

  • MBA, BA degree in Business Administration, Marketing Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a business development leadership role, preferably within private trading and manufacturing areas.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a business development team effectively.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, customer needs, and competitive landscapes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and data presentation skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and translate business goals into actionable plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence.
  • Initiative and good decision making skills.
  • Project management skills.
  • Ability to convert client relationships to achieve strategic business activities.
  • Recognize changing market forces that may impact upon own or customer’s business and puts plans in to make positive contribution.
