1.Plant Controller

Job Summary

Purpose of the Position

Overseeing financial operations at all plant level, including … Collaborating with plant management to analyze and optimize manufacturing processes, identify cost -reduction opportunities and enhance profitability.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce a monthly report on consumption of raw and packaging materials including chemical and stock movement of the plant.
  • Analyze consumption of raw and packaging against the bill of materials, evaluate the deviations from the plan.
  • Collect and submit periodic operational reports from plant to management.
  • Collaborate with Finance Manager and the team to monitor and implement plant internal controls as necessary to ensure reporting integrity, safeguard company assets and identify risks.
  • Initiate and take the lead in business improvement and cost saving activities.
  • Drive improvement actions on supply chain performances (material extraction losses, energy savings)
  • Manage adjustments, write-off, disposal of stock as per the procedure.
  • Make sure LC cost sheet is prepared for all import purchase.
  • Control all open Purchase orders and check purchase accounts on regular basis.
  • Participate and challenge production performance indicators.
  • Produce ABC costing, cost variance reports.
  • Provides input for the latest estimates as required.
  • Lead stock count of the plant, on a monthly quarterly and annual basis.
  • Make sure that plant activities are captured into NAV.
  • Follow up the timely record keeping, reconciliation and reporting of company payable accounts related to material supply.
  • Make sure monthly depreciation expense is recorded, manages any property tax are paid on time.
  • Follow up and management of fixed asset administration including tagging, depreciation calculation.
  • Ensure that the supply chain investments have the proper fund application and approval.
  • Keep records of fund applications (approved, pending, rejected)
  • Follow up and report on the project spending as per the approval of the fund application.
  • Ensure preparation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the management.
  • Participates in the annual statutory and tax audits.
  • Collect data, summarize department costs, analyze all financial and non-financial data.

About You

COMPETENCIES: –

Functional competency

Functional knowledge of manufacturing finance, Inventory & cost accounting is a must with 10 to 12 years of experience with FMCG background. There should be 3 to 5 years of experience in supervisory role and handling a team of 4 to 8 people.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Experience:

  • MSc in Finance and Accounting/MBA /Part Qualified Accountant
  • Min 8 years financial, supply chain & manufacturing experience in accounting/analytical roles with FMCG sector experience and experience of managing teams.  

Must have experience of:

  • Budgeting & Forecasting for multiple business units
  • Good internal/external communicator being able to build strong relationships, influencing and presenting at a senior level  Desirable
  • Working experience in Ethiopia

2.General Service Officer

Job Summary

The General Service Officer assumes overall responsibility for the proper functioning of Facility management service functions and activities. In more specific terms, the Supervisors are responsible but not limited for the under listed:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement regular inspection in office, Warehouse Facilities to ensure activities are conducted safely and appropriately.
  • Oversee the security team to execute open, close, and secure facilities and check for safety and maintenance concerns.
  • Convey maintenance, custodial to concerned body and/or facilitate the outsourcing through Procurement.
  • Liaise with HRM and develop a Security Procedure, other Facility protocols and Facility Amp-up plans and execute the plan as per the approved Budget and Timeline.
  • Ensure to enforce and comply with all established policies and procedures, regarding of facilities.
  • Facilitate offices with necessary materials whenever there is an event for efficient, safe, and service-oriented events.
  • Collect and Compile visitor’s logbook, WH movement logbooks, facility issues, injuries, and incidents and report daily to HRM.
  • Maintain facility and records to ensure compliance with company standards and all federal, state and local laws.
  • Work closely with other HR team to ensure that all the necessary tools of trades are available for new joiners at the first day of their arrival.
  • Manage the office supply store and to ensure timely purchase and Distribution of Office supplies.
  • Manage the Canteen Facilities to ensure a quality service delivery including daily record of canteen users.
  • Supervise basic facility maintenance in offices, Warehouses, canteen and compound and If any to ensure work is completed at a standard in terms of quality, the work is completed within the estimated cost, and within the time schedule.
  • Communicates with stakeholders to ensure the job is understood prior to the work, and to ensure the stakeholder is satisfied when the work is completed.
  • Supervises Shared services including Cleaning services, Security Services, drinking water availability, office Beautification, Electric Bill management for factory and Warehouse.
  • Track and Monitor company owned vehicles fuel card
  • Plan and Execute the generators fuel supply to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply.
  • Monitor the security cameras and report unethical issues in a timely manner.
  • Ensure proper implementation of EHS guidelines and Policies
  • Submit reports on time with accurate figures & facts to the HR & Admin Manager.
  • Any other duty which may be assigned on time to time basis.

3.ERP Manager

Job Summary

Purpose of the Position

The Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERP) Manager is responsible for the optimization of ERP systems. The Manager will play a central role in ensuring our ERP system is operating effectively, and will actively coordinate across multiple business administrative departments, as well as regularly engage end users to improve experience. This position requires strong knowledge of business process, project management skills, and extensive experience designing and managing ERP systems. The Manager should have a close eye for detail and an ability to see the broader picture, meet challenges with enthusiasm, and comfortable the opportunity to work collaboratively across departments within a diverse organization.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the IT Head to accomplish strategic plans and objectives to maintain and improve our ERP System
  • Coordinate and manage the organization’s use of master files, roles, user views, data control, reporting, and data integrity
  • Oversee and execute on-going maintenance and improvement projects
  • Design and run quarterly reports to test that data integrity and accuracy within the system
  • Brief departments heads and data “owners” on data and system corrections
  • Maintain an inventory of reports to assure that codes, trees and other critical fields maintain accuracy as changes are made to attributes and relations
  • Create new versions of reports and alerts as needed, specifically reports that need periods changed annually
  • Coordinate across Business Administration and system users the creation of new reports, dashboards, and analytical tools.
  • Design and manage Change Management requests, approval and tracking process
  • Advise and implement the optimization of quality control measures
  • Create and maintain an inventory of fields and definitions for inputs/values
  • Manage and track the status of all system changes, tests and upgrades tasks
  • Advise on communications to the organization about system upgrades or functionality
  • Ensure documentation, such as training guides, procedures, and test scripts, are maintained and regularly updated

User Support and Experience

  • Research and survey end user needs
  • Organize trainings and promote the use and education of ERP across the organization
  • In coordination with core business units, lead the design and development of documentation and end user quick guides as needed
  • Manage the process of designing, creating, implementing, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytical tools (Power BI)

4.Supply Chain Financial Analyst 

Job Summary

Responsible for analyzing costs and financial performance as well as implementing cost control measures to ensure the company’s profitability. You work closely with plant managers, project managers, procurement team and other stakeholders to monitor project budgets, track costs and provide accurate financial reports.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Produce a monthly report on consumption of raw and packaging materials, and chemical products and stock movements for plant.
  • Checks and alert the management on the BoM accuracy with NAV and follow up with the production team for any variation and Validation
  • Produce input output analysis report
  • Produce monthly wastage, defects and market return reports to improve supply chain efficiency
  • Analyze and report fixed assets in transit/WIP
  • Monitor actual cost development, provide early warnings on deviations and advise on corrective actions
  • Fill in the established costing models with verified historical data to produce costing reports.
  • Perform account reconciliation and balance sheet reviews.
  • Take part in and report on cost audits.
  • Produce cost variance reports
  • Identify and report on new cost behavior trends
  • Identify and report on non-value-added processes
  • Follow up the timely recording keeping, reconciliation and reporting of all company’s payables/Foreign suppliers accounts/.
  • To control the correctness of plant petty cash payment made against the amount of cash replenished by reconciling them.
  • To calculate monthly and annual depreciation and post the depreciation costs to general ledger
  • Support the year-end Financial audit and customs audit
  • Support in budgeting process by collecting past data and other information from respective departments
  • Process adherence on NAV system related to Stock, Accruals, reporting and related reconciliations
