The National Bank of Ethiopia granted work permits to five non-bank foreign exchange offices

3. Global Independent Foreign Exchange Bureau
4. Robust Independent Foreign Exchange Bureau
5. Yoga Forex Bureau

All of these foreign exchange offices are accepted, said the National Bank. It is said that the foreign exchange offices will mainly conduct spot transactions, both sales and purchases of foreign currency.

Foreign exchange offices can purchase up to 10,000 US dollars from customers without a customs declaration, and more in cash from customers who present a customs permit.

You can also sell up to USD 5,000 to private travelers with travel information, and USD 10,000 to business travelers.
