Job Summary: –

  •  The Receptionist is accountable for performing quality, efficient and hands-on services through operating a telephone Switchboard as well as a fax machine to take and relay messages. Also, to manage telephone calls properly and assist staff and visitors in placing calls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receives, screens and transmits telephone calls to the respective staff members:
  • Takes telephone messages in the absence of staff members and ensures transmission of messages accurately and timely:
  • Supports staff and visitors in making international calls, registers the number called and purpose (official/personal):
  • Checks telephone bills and passes to administration for verification and payment approval:
  • Receives visitors coming to the office in a polite manner, checks and directs them to the relevant staff:
  • Ensures that unwanted/unauthorized visitors do not walk into the office:
  • Support on administrative routines of the HR Department;
  • Ensures that the reception area is quiet, neat and professional working atmosphere;
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma graduate in secretarial science and office management /any degree
  • At least 3 years of related experience in receptionist

Job Summary: –

The Human Resources Manager at the Brewery is responsible for direct, control and led the entire activities and tasks of human resource management and general services of the Plant. Additionally, responsible to develops HR policies & strategies in collaboration with the HR Director and implements when approved. 

Key Areas & Responsibilities

HR Advice, Support and Coaching

  • Manage the recruitment and selection process of operational roles with respective function.
  • Ensure the successful induction of the selected candidates into the role and the business.
  • Work with Line Managers to identify performance related issues.
  • Provide proactive management coaching to work with employees prior to initiating the formal performance improvement process.
  •  Complete documentation, ensure country’s legislation and Dashen CBA compliance.
  •  Interpreting and advising on employment legislation; develop and implement policies on a variety of workplace issues.
  •  Assist the functional Leadership team in reinforcing the Leadership competencies.
  •  Create a high-performance focused culture through personal leadership, teamwork and the development of individual accountability for performance and safety.
  • Contributing to a positive working environment through involvement & participation in company initiatives.

Employee Relations

  • Ensuring that the Operations team is well supported to deal with all employee relations cases, in accordance with approved company Policy, CBA, the labor policy, and best practices.  Coach and advice managers on it.
  • Stand as plant focal person on HR Case and meet with labor Union on regular base.
  • Ensure proper Listening on grievances raised and implementing disciplinary procedures.
  • Establish and maintain effective win-win working relationships with employees and their representatives through an environment that fosters communication and cooperation.

HR System and Design 

  • Evaluate existing HR systems adequacy and effectiveness as tools of management control; develops, recommends and when approved by the HR Director, assists in the implementation of new systems, procedures, and policies.

 HR Strategic Duties

  • Driving company values and culture within the functional team.
  • Developing HR planning strategies with line managers by considering immediate and long-term staff requirements.
  • Design and implement market-based pay structure in line with company Philosophy.
  • Development of a talent pipeline in collaboration with HRD.
  • Support and involve other areas of strategic activities as required. 

HR Reporting

  • Prepare, co-ordinate and provide relevant HR reporting as required daily, weekly and monthly utilizing company databases and systems.
  • Prepare People balance sheet report quarterly.

Performance Management

  • By closely working with L and D Manager Support Managers and team leaders through the performance process, including setting goals & targets, holding team members to those targets.
  • Preparing development or performance improvement plans in conjunction with Managers.

Job Requirements

Education and Experience

  • BA in Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Public Administration, Management or equivalent.
  • At least 8 years of Human Resources experience in a manufacturing environment out of which More than 4 years in a Managerial position.

  • Ability to analyses data and present this in a meaningful way.
  •  Strong written and oral communication skills, including presentation skills to different audiences at different levels across the business.
  •  Excellent influencing, consulting, and interpersonal skills with people at all levels, internally and externally.

  •  Displays a high level of emotional intelligence, including Resilience, influencing skills, and Effective interactions that build strong relationships.
  • Extensive labor legislation knowledge (Labor proclamation and workplace-related legislation, etc.
