- Experience: Minimum 5 years in supply chain management, industry-certified preferred.
- Knowledge: Profound understanding of supply chain principles, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, transportation, and distribution. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.
- Training Skills: Strong presentation and facilitation, adaptable to diverse learning style with the ability to effectively communicate complex supply chain concepts to a diverse audience. They should be able to develop and deliver engaging training materials, including presentations, case studies, and hands-on exercises. The trainer should also be able to adapt their training style to meet the needs of different learning styles and levels of experience.

Job Requirements
- Education: Diploma and above in Mechanical Engineering, Electro Mechanics, Automotive, or related fields.
- Training: Completion of a forklift operator training program with a valid forklift operator certification and forklift trainer certification from a recognized organization/institution.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a forklift operator in a warehouse or industrial setting or teaching forklift operation in a recognized institution with evidence of experience.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of forklift operations, safety regulations, and best practices. Familiarity with different types of forklifts (e.g., T1, T2) and their specific operational requirements.

7.Office Manger
DMI, in consortium with East Africa Gate (EAGATE) Consulting Plc is implementing the project: ” Facilitating Partner for Local Economic Development (LED) Pilot” in Kebri Beyah (Ethiopia), financed by the World Bank.
The duration of the project is anticipated to be until December 2024.
Under the general supervision and guidance of the Team Leader and DMI Project backstopping manager, the main duties and responsibilities are:
1. Office management
- Manage office work
- Assist the Team of experts in implementing their tasks
- Manage office communication including contact with clients
- Screen and monitor telephone calls
- Maintain, update, and distribute project files
- Schedule meetings and keep track of appointments
- Maintain and update the project’s stakeholder matrix with full contact information, and integrate it with the project’s mailing list for distribution of project outputs
- Create, update, and maintain address lists and other useful documents for smooth functioning of the project office
- Keep track records of meetings and promotional events
- Provide support in the organization and follow up of events
- Provide logistical support to training, workshops, and visits (catering, equipment, promotion material)
- Maintain office supplies (stationary and consumables)
- Assist in editing and finalizing project reports
- Keep the office area well presented for clients
- Handle all types of correspondence (telephone, letter, e-mail)
- Other tasks as they arise at the request of the Team Leader and other experts
2. Project accounting
- Financial project administration (invoices, journals, budget control sheet) including regular exchange with the financial department of DMI and EAGate
- Prepare monthly journals with all expenditures and invoices, and dispatch them to DMI and EAGate
- Under the supervision of the Team Leader, prepare financial forecasts and requests for the advancement of funds
- Prepare budget estimates for all project activities (training, workshops, seminars)
- Review, arrange payment and record all project expenditure vouchers in accordance with the financial regulations of the World Bank, as well as of DMI and EAGate
- File all financial documents and prepare necessary conditions to work with audit agencies or financial inspection agencies as required
- Handle the project’s accounts and finances
- Keep a record of project finance-related requests and related administrative orders
- Handle petty cash and accounting for all expenditures within the project
- Update and maintain financial documentation and filing system
- Ensure that all relevant financial project documents are updated and at disposal
Job Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related discipline
- Previous experience in office management, preferably in previous donor-funded projects
- Computer literacy including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Strong problem solving, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Fluency in English and Somali on top of Amharic
