The Fully Funded DAAD EPOS Scholarship 2025-26 applications are open. The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) offers the DAAD EPOS scholarship. The Scholarship is open to study Master’s, MPhil, MBA, LLM, and Ph.D. degree programs in German state-recognized universities and in exceptional cases to take a doctoral degree. EPOS scholarship is one of the largest and most popular scholarships in Germany for international students. Every year high number of applications they receive.
The duration of the scholarship is from 1 to 3.5 years (dependent on the study program). Germany saw a record number of international students. Around 458,210 students are enrolled. Financial Benefits
The EPOS is a Fully Funded Program managed by DAAD. All the expenses will be covered such as:
- 934 Euros for Graduates or 1,300 euros for doctoral candidates
- Payments toward health, accident, and personal liability insurance
- Travel allowance and airfare Tickets will be provided.
- Monthly rent subsidy
- Monthly allowance for accompanying members of the family
Note: You can also apply for the DAAD EPOS Program on self-financing. If you have not been offered EPOS Scholarship then you can apply for a self-finance.

Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates have a Bachelor’s degree (usually a four-year course) in an appropriate subject.
- Candidates have at least two years of professional experience.
- Candidates can prove their motivation for a scholarship.
- Applicants from the following countries are eligible. Please check the list of eligible countries.
- The minimum requirement for IELTS is (6 bands). You can also check with the institute you’re applying to see if they require English proficiency proof.

- Copies of your higher education degree certificates
