The Bank was established with a paid-up capital of Birr 7.75 billion, which is well over the regulator’s minimum capital requirement for establishing bank business in Ethiopia. Total capital of the Bank reached Birr 12.8 billion, that includes the paid-up capital, legal and special reserves. Currently, the Bank’s total asset amounted to Birr 56.6 billion.
