Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate;

Job title 1: Senior General Accountant

Job Purpose:

To enhance financial decision making by recording and processing financial data and reconciling account balances and bank statements, maintaining general ledger and preparing required financial reports and statements in an accurate and timely manner.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assists and participates in the preparation of operational plan of the Finance function.
  • Reviews and refines financial transactions and accounts based on Company policies and procedures.
  • Prepares the general journals for the company and its subsidiaries.
  • Reviews and checks the completeness and adequacy of financial documents.
  • Inspects & tests books of accounts for accuracy and performs other advanced general accounting tasks.
  • Checks all transactions and decisions are supported by proper documentation and authorization.
  • Verifies that bank statements are reconciled with the book of accounts.
  • Confirms expenditures are justified, properly made, signed, and charged to correct accounts/project budget.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

  • MA or BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business Administration, or related fields

Experience:  

  • 3/5 years’ Experience

Skills:

  • Supervisory and leadership Skills
  • Computer Literacy, Proficient in Microsoft word, Excel, and Publisher amongst others.
  • Time management skills.
  • Ability to make decisions on the go in liaison with the relevant stake holders.
  • Problem solving & conflict management skills.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.

Job title 2: Senior Cost Accountant

Job Purpose:

To estimate production costs and track regular expenses, which may be related to a new process or a new product and recommend changes to pricing and business models through tracking data such as changing labor, supply costs, conducting market research.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains accurate costing systems in relation to labor, production methods and material supply.
  • Analyzes changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing methods, or services to determine effects on costs.
  • Estimates new and proposed product costs as well as product changes.
  • Analyzes the data collected and logs a detailed record of the results.
  • Prepares (monthly, quarterly, and annual) cost forecasts.
  • Analyzes monthly Cost of goods sold (CoGS), Purchase Price Variance (PPV) and Manufacturing variance journal entries.
  • Analyzes data on material and labor costs to evaluate efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Reviews standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.

Job Requirements

Qualification and Skills

  • MA or BA  Degree in  Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Management, Business administration or related fields.

Experience:  

3/5 years experience

Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and procedures.
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Computer literacy, proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel.
  • Time management skills.
  • Familiarity with Peachtree accounting.

Job title 3: Senior Accountant

Job Purpose:
