AREA SALES MANAGER / REGIONAL SALES MANAGER

OK Bottling and Beverage Share Company produce Fiker natural spring water to deliver customers and end users with refreshing, clean and safe water. Our manufacturing plant is located in Guraghe Zone Eza Woreda, just 198 KMS from Addis Ababa. The Company currently is looking to hire dynamic, energetic and hardworking potential employee in the following positions as per specified job requirements. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing, training, and providing overall guidance to the sales team of an assigned territory.
  • Setting reasonable sales targets to be achieved by the sales team.
  • Monitoring the performance of the sales team and motivating members to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Collecting customer feedback and providing updates to senior management.
  • Traveling to potential and existing customers within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.
  • Implementing a sales management process to assist the sales team in identifying and prioritizing key customers and prospects.
  • Regularly review sales data and create reports for senior-level officers.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to provide sales insights to marketing and sales staff.
  • Travel to organization locations within a given area to meet with and manage sales staff.
  • Review sales policies and update policies and curriculum as needed.
  • Identify both struggling and successful sales initiatives and explore ways to improve on sales metrics.
  • Communicate actively with sales teams in a given area to help foster a team environment.
  • Plan and execute sales meetings to help provide feedback and sales insights.
  • Interview and train new sales employers, and overseeing other onboarding tasks as needed.
  • Perform other related duties. 

JOB GRADE : SENIOR (5+ YEAR)

DEPARTMENT: SALES & DISTRIBUTION

REGION/DISTRICT:  ADDIS ABABA

NUMBER OF OPEN POSITIONS :  1 (ONE)

SALARY:  NEGOTIABLE AND ATTRACTIVE

EMPLOYMENT TYPE:  FULL TIME AFTER THE SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF PROBATION PERIOD.

Job Requirements

EDUCATION(formal education)

  • BA Degree and above in Marketing/Business Management/Administration or equivalent

 EXPERIENCE

  • At least 3-5 years of related sales / marketing experience in FMCG, especially in bottled water.        

ROLES, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED

  • Proven sales experience; sector-specific sales experience is preferred.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales quotas.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
