Position: Salesperson Intern

Minimum Educational Qualification and Work Experience:

Education (Minimum): Diploma in sales,marketing, accounting or any social science field of study.
Bachelor’s degree in any field of study.

  • Preferably a 2020, 2021 or 2022 graduate with 0 years of experience

Additional Skill Required

  • Understanding of the sales process and dynamics.
  • A commitment to excellent customer service.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build rapport with both customers and suppliers.
  • Competency in Microsoft applications including word, excel, and outlook is an asset
  • Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment.
  • Required CGPA  needs to be 2.5 or above.

Purpose Of Job

  • The position holder is responsible for using his/her knowledge for company products or services to connect with consumers and generate sales for his/her employer by developing sales pitches to sell products or services, making cold calls to sales leads or taking calls from prospective customers and maintaining documentation of their sales like invoices or client contracts.

Location: Addis Ababa

Starting Date: Immediately after contract agreement concluded

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Needs to have excellent verbal communication that enables him/her to connect with consumers and
  • persuade them to purchase company products or services.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Negotiating all contracts with prospective clients.
  • Helping determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions, and negotiations.
  • Preparing weekly and monthly reports.
  • Giving sales presentations to a range of prospective clients.
  • Coordinating sales efforts with marketing programs.
  • Understanding and promoting company programs.
  • Preparing and submitting sales contracts for orders.
  • Visiting clients and potential clients to evaluate needs or promote products and services.
  • Maintaining client records and follow up with customers to continue relationships
