The Network of Networks of HIV- Positives in Ethiopia (NEP+), was established in 2004, as an umbrella organization of twelve PLHIV networks comprised of nine regional states, two city administrations and one national PLHIV women networks. NEP+ is legally registered as per new federal ACSO with registration No 1483.
As a symbol of PLHIV communities, NEP+ is principally committed to end HIV and other top diseases and its impacts; advocate for the rights of PLHIVs, and other marginalized groups in the country.

Job Position 1 – Junior Accountant
Required Qualification and Experience
Education: BA/Diploma ( level 3) in Accounting or related field
Experience : At least 2 years of relevant work experience for BA & 3 years work experience for Diploma
All positions are contractual but extended depending on the availability of fund & performance.
Job Summary:
The junior accountant assists in preparing journal entering preparing payment vouchers processing financial transactions entering data into the computer making reconciliation, preparing reports in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standard (IPSAS), NEP+ Accounting and financial policies and procedures and other laws as required.
Job Responsibility
Ensure the required documentation and authorization is presented before effecting payments and encoring data into the system.
Carries out planned activities in line with the approved annual plan and budget
Processing payment which involves ensuring all payments are adequately supported by appropriate documentation.
Write check based on the approved payment voucher
Uses necessarily format before and after payment effected.
Enters all financial data into the computer/ accounting system
Prepares cash transfer letter
Prepares journal entries for transfers correction and adjustments.
Reconciliation bank statements with books of accounts
Files all financial documents and reports
Performs other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Good communication and presentation skills
Well organized and ability to act in a professional and ethical manner
Competency in computer applications.
Knowledge of accounting software.
