Danish Government Scholarships at the University of Copenhagen

Through the Danish Government Scholarships program, the University of Copenhagen (UCPH) provides a small number of grants and tuition waivers for master’s degree study. The scholarships are competitive and are available to exceptionally gifted students from outside the European Union, the European Economic Area, or Switzerland who have excelled academically.

The Danish Government Scholarship is given as a complete or partial waiver of tuition fees, and in some cases it also includes money to help with living expenses. Any non-EU/EEA or non-Swiss applicants who are accepted will automatically be considered for the scholarship.

Here is a complete list of the University of Copenhagen’s master’s degree programs offered in English. The majority of programs begin classes in September. A few programs also start in February, but the scholarship is only offered for courses beginning in September.

The university only considers academic achievement when awarding the scholarships; financial need is not taken into account.
