- Lead carbon projects site delineation via GPS, reforestation/afforestation via FMNR & planting
- Establish permanent sample plots for carbon stock baseline & monitoring using GPS.
- Facilitate capacity building training (skill training on seed collection & drying, marketing, FMNR contribution to soil fertility improvement, production & profitability, business idea development, business plan preparation implementation monitoring and evaluation) and facilitate co-learning.
- Ensure NRM activities identified, follow watershed logic and agro ecologically appropriate intervention that led to carbon stocking in the catchments.
- Lead the context specific technology and practice identification, integration of NRM, climate smart agriculture and energy efficient technology into each year DIP.
- Prepare annual plan and follow up its executions in light of the project design documents.

- Establish carbon stock baseline, develop carbon monitoring plan, undertake carbon stock monitoring & reporting.
- Work technically with FORLIANCE GmbH consultant in the establishment of GHG baseline data development for Hakim Gara and Upper Dabena catchments and make sure the data are included in each year DIP.
- Develop carbon stock monitoring plan, measure carbon sock changes and conduct final carbon stock change of the catchment at the end of project life.
- Identify carbon leakage source, design strategy to reduce carbon leakage, monitor leakage, document & report leakage.
- Undertake energy efficient cooking stoves (EECS) hh need assessment, facilitate EECS accessing modality, lead carbon emission due to non EECS, establish baseline, develop plan to monitor EECS use contribution to emission reduction (ER), coordinate thermal efficiency tests preparing data monitoring sheets and ensure the data collection protocols adhere to
- Ensure promoted energy efficiency technologies products are standard quality and dependable supply system.
- Ensure implementation of Environmental and Social Management Plan

- Advocacy on sustainable natural resources (water, soil & trees) management and its link to sustainable land management, livelihood improvement and climate resilience.
- Link EFCS & solar technologies promotion/production/ distribution centred women girls’ group and get connected with private partners and S4T as well as financial institutions.
- Facilitate and engage the stakeholders in participatory assessments to identify potentials, problems and development opportunities for carbon stocking.
- Identify prospective A/R business partners in the operational areas and encourage their participation in project survey, farmer activities and other forums.
- Create a discussion forum between stakeholders at different level /regional/zonal/district level government representatives, and farmer/community leaders that discusses existing best management practices and policies related to A/R/EECS and re-examines these in the light of project results and farmer/community opinions.

- Ensure stablishing/strengthening water shade level CBOs, producer groups, saving group members getting women as part of leadership.
- Creating platform, leading platform, engaging and network with relevant government offices, FBO and CBO in the AP area and ensure inclusive and bottom-up joint (planning, implementation, resources leveraging, monitoring and reviewing)

- Prepare quality and timely regular reports and submit the same to AP, concerned CPO, HO & GO
- Engage in Identifying best practices and facilitate scaling up through capturing best practice photo with brief caption, data recording, analysis, documenting lessons learned and sharing lessons,
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
Required Professional Experience
- Must have experience in carbon accounting/ NRM/Climate change/Forestry
- Preferable if having a clear understanding of major donors’ perspectives, requirements and standards
- Expected to have proven analytical/ problem solving abilities.
- Experiences in computer words, excel and other facilities management.
- Effective in written and Verbal communication in English.
- Motor Bike Driving license is as an additional requirement.
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification.
- At least 5 years in BSc Degree in Forestry/NRM/Climate change.
- Preferred at least 3 years MSc Degree in Forestry, Natural Resource Management, climate change and a related field.

Job Description:
The driver Mechanic reports directly to Finance & Admin Coordinator (RFSA). S/he receives additional guidance from the regional manager/woreda coordinator depending on the work locations. The position holder will be responsible to provide full range of transportation service for organizational use and ensure safe movement of staff during program implementation. S/he will inspect vehicles regularly, evaluate condition of systems, equipment, accessories, light and reports any mechanical problems to the fleet supervisor for repair /parts replacement.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide transportation service for organization use as approved by the concerned supervisor(s)
- Observe prescribed work, safety rules and respond to service calls.
- Perform minor mechanical repairs / service: Service vehicles according to established preventive maintenance schedule. Rotate and change tires; change oil and filters; grease vehicle parts; inspect and replace bulbs, and Top up all fluid levels
- Maintain accurate, updated records of preventive maintenance in adherence to WV fleet policy
- Inspect vehicles regularly, evaluate condition of systems, equipment, accessories, and light and reports any mechanical problems of vehicle to supervisor for repair /parts replacement and keep vehicle accessories counted, logo intact, functional safety tools kits and equipment.
- Maintain buses, vans, cars and work area clean, fueled and in good condition at all times
- Maintain log books and fuel consumption records on a regular basis
- Take cautious measures on keeping original keys, tools, reserve tires/rims and communicate officially when needed
- Consistently monitor vehicle performance, submit maintenance request or advice timely and follow-up accomplishments
- Prepare and submit monthly vehicle usage report
Job Requirements
KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ROLE
- Required Professional Experience
- Minimum of two years of related work.
- Basic English spoken and writing.
- Skill in routine vehicle maintenance and minor repairs.
- Able to carry out limited, un-supervised tasks
Required Education, training, license, registration, and certification
- 12th or 10+2, TVET Diploma, 3rd grade valid driving license
- Technical Training qualifications required: Minimum third grade driving license
Preferred Knowledge and Qualifications
– Strong MS office (Word, Excel, etc.) and the ability to use new technology Knowledge of petty cash management
– Customer handling skills
Language Requirements: Amharic, basic English and Tigrigna
