Position 1: Director, Interest Free Banking
Job Description
This position is responsible for overseeing and ensuring that Interest Free Banking products and services are rendered in line with the policy and procedure of the Bank, customers’ expectation, and market developments, develop and implement overall business activities of Interest Free Banking and designing and redesigning of the Interest Free Banking Division.
Required Technical Competency
- Develop strategy and work plan for the department in line with the strategic objective of the bank.
- Ensure proper functionality of financing and strict financing follow-up system.
- Follow up the activities of the Interest Free Banking department and ensure authorities and responsibilities are properly discharged.
- Guide and coordinate the operation of Interest Free Banking Services; Interest Free Banking operation; and Interest Free Banking Finance business.
- Develop and review policies and procedures of Interest Free Banking (IFB) operations.
- Oversee the operation of the IFB services of all units and branches of the Bank.
- Develop and spearhead implementation of the business plan of the IFB services.
- Support branches and district offices in implementing their respective IFB duties.
Job Requirements
Qualifications/Skills
- Masters’/MBA/M.Sc. /Bachelor’s/ B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 6/8 years relevant experience with 3 years as division Manager or equivalent
Position 2: Sr. Credit Workout Officer
Job Description
This position is responsible for minimising and monitoring the overall non-performing loans performance thereby to attain the required goals of the bank plus maximising the bank’s asset quality and profitability.
Required Technical Competency
- Review borrower’s loan files and accounts and detect and identify loans which require workout.
- Conduct regular survey and identifies problem areas of loan collection of work out loans and suggests remedial actions,
- Identify and recommend the transfer problem of loans to legal department
- Review complaints of customer and ensure that timely solutions are given to customers enquiries,
- Conduct implementation of credit workout related strategies, programs policies, procedures, standards and recommends the necessary changes,
- Prepare an analysis report for workout cases and submit for the decision of the appropriate credit committee.

- Bachelor’s/ B.Sc. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields
- At least 4 years relevant experience with 2 years as Officer level I or equivalent
